St. Martins Booktown

St. Martins is located on New Brunswick’s Bay of Fundy Coast.  St. Martins, West Quaco, Orange Hill and Bayview are all nestled along the breathtaking crescent beach of Quaco Bay.

St. Martins was,  for over a century, one of the foremost shipbuilding villages in Atlantic Canada.  During the golden years of the Age of Sail hundreds of schooners, brigantines, sloops and barques were built in drydocks that dotted the crescent bay, leaving our home port to sail the world.  Remnants of these bygone days still remain in the homes of the Sea Captains that still gaze out over the Fundy.  The Bay of Fundy boasts the highest tides in the world, visitors are amazed daily at the high and low tide variance on our shores.

Now St. Martins is a popular destination for tourists, offering breathtaking views, fresh sea air and a relaxed pace of life.  The five kilometers of smooth beaches offer boundless walks.  Our famous Sea Caves and the picturesque Anvil Rock are unmatched anywhere, St. Martins is the beginning point for the World famous Fundy Trail.  New Brunswick is renowned for its Covered Bridges, St. Martins is the only place where you can capture two covered bridges in one photograph!

St. Martins offers a wide range of accommodations, from luxury suites to quaint historic inns and cozy family-run B&B’s to self-catering cottages and camping grounds.  Why not book a stay?
