The Original Murder Mystery was written by Booktown founder, Jackie Bartlett. The day began at the Caves Restaurant, for free seafood chowder and biscuits, and the chance to read through your detective’s notebook. Participants visited all Booktown Locations to gather clues, and assembled for dinner to solve the mystery. |

Harriet Taylor of Fredericton, NB wasn’t fooled by the plot twist, and solved the mystery, winning the prize: a basket of artworks, crafts and home-made goodies donated by St. Martins artisans. The runner up prize was a hand-stitched needlepoint cushion and a gift certificate to Mrs. Brown’s Tearoom. |
