Quaco Craft |
|
Quaco Craft is a co-operative organization. Members volunteer time to operate the store, and stock the shelves with some of the St. Martins Area’s finest handicrafts. You will find everything from creative metalwork to fine quilting, knitting, handmade clothing, Folk Art and home-made candles. Quaco Craft is pleased to offer a select collection of second-hand, affordable Craft Books, Crafting Manuals, Crafts Magazines and Craft How-To books sure to help make your creative impulses reality. Quaco Craft is located in a 19th century building which served for nearly 100 years as St. Martins’ Butcher shop. The original butcher’s block remains in the store, with several other features, including the machinery necessary to operate the walk-in cooler. Although the building is now home to more peaceful pursuits, it is interesting to see these connections to St. Martins’ past.
